PlayBall was founded on a simple belief: kids thrive when they feel safe, supported, and active. We aren't just coaches; we're partners in your child's growth, blending professional youth athletics with empathetic care.
PlayBall has always been passionate about working with children.
Early on, we recognized how critical the early developmental years are. When important developmental windows are missed, it can affect a child's growth in many ways, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Because of that understanding, we became deeply committed to intentionally building character and confidence in young children. PlayBall discovered that sports provide one of the most powerful and natural ways to do this. Through movement and play, children learn teamwork, perseverance, leadership, respect and self-belief.
Our goal has always been about more than teaching sports skills. We strive to create an environment where children feel encouraged, capable, and confident - setting a strong foundation that extends far beyond the field or courts.
We believe every child deserves to feel special, valued, and successful. By creating a positive and structured environment, we help children step outside of their comfort zones, try new things, and develop resilience.
The lessons they learn with us are designed to carry into the classroom, their homes, and their future, shaping not just better athletes, but stronger, more confident individuals.

Coach Zach
OWNER, OPERATOR
Zach is a Jacksonville native who has been married to his wife Jackie for seven years. A US Army Veteran with over ten years of experience in childcare and four small children of his own, Zach knows the benefits sports have on small children and wants to give those benefits to as many children as he can.
Coach Noah
HEAD COACH, ST. JOHN'S COUNTY
Noah has been with PlayBall for almost 20 years, first as a student athlete and now as our Head Coach in the St. John's County area. His experience, infectious energy, and love of kids help him make every game with his kids great.

ASSISTANT COACH
Matt ensures every session is inclusive and supportive, helping our youngest champions develop social skills and confidence through movement.
